Less setup. More story. Here’s your route into Nuka Roleplay.

  1. 01

    Get your game ready.

    You’ll need your own Steam copy of Fallout 4, the six original DLCs, and the supported Windows game version.

  2. 02

    Open the Nuka launcher.

    The launcher checks your setup and starts the multiplayer client. Keep Steam running and signed in.

  3. 03

    Choose a character. Step outside.

    Pick your character in game and the launcher flow handles the server connection. Your story can take it from there.

What is Nuka Roleplay?

Nuka Roleplay is a community multiplayer roleplay project for Fallout 4 on Windows. It’s built around original characters and shared stories in the Commonwealth, and is currently in active development.

Do I need to own Fallout 4?

Yes. You need your own Steam copy of Fallout 4 and the six original DLCs. The launcher does not include or distribute the game, DLCs, or F4SE.

Which game version do I need?

The current playtest targets Fallout 4 1.11.221.0 with F4SE 0.7.8. Follow the instructions supplied with the launcher release. Back up your saves before changing your setup.

How do I connect to the server?

Start the game through the Nuka launcher, then choose a character in the custom character screen. The connection is handled automatically, so you don’t need to enter an IP address.

Is the project finished?

Not yet. Multiplayer features and persistence are still being developed and tested. Treat current releases as playtest software; availability and features may change between builds.
